Initially, the developers took a tough attitude towards the project, but the tenacious CoinsKid community took over the project, revived it, and turned it into a symbol of organic growth and community-driven power. The project was inspired by Fartboy, a funny and popular children's book series created by Adam Wallace, a New York Times bestselling author with more than 11 million copies sold.
